Education
University of Texas Tyler - Bachelors, major in education and minor in reading.
Experience
I am ESL certified and I speak, read, and write Spanish. I have taught school for 16 years most of those years I taught in the dual language program, which means that I taught mostly no English speaking children; because I have taught the non English speaking children I understand the tremendous problems they face everyday in the classroom. I have tutored my students after school to give them extra help for the last 16 years. I worked on line as a tutor after I retired for about 2 months until they no longer offered the services for my age group, which is K-8 grades.
